The Palm Beach Zoo will is now hosting a Green Market every other Saturday starting on March 8th and ending on June 28th, 2014. Local produce stands, and sustainably harvested items will be available for purchase near the exit gate from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM every other Saturday. The next one coming up is March 22nd, so make sure not to miss it! On Friday, March 21st, from 5:30-9:30 PM, the Palm Beach Zoo will be hosting a ‘Food Truck Safari’. The zoo will be bringing in several food trucks in the evening for guests to enjoy a night at the zoo. There will be live music at the Interactive Fountain Plaza and the Mayan Plaza, along with Zoo Keeper talks and close-up animal encounters.
Saturday, March 15th, is state-wide ‘Save the Florida Panther Day’. To emphasize the importance of saving this critically endangered species, the Palm Beach Zoo will be celebrating with games, crafts, and informative keeper talks to teach guests how they can help in the conservation of our state mammal.
Children’s entertainment will also include an interactive percussion show by Steve Gryb, the Pied Piper of Percussion. To learn more about this event visit the zoo website here.

Come celebrate St. Patrick’s day weekend at the Palm Beach Zoo! Friday through Sunday, March 15th-17th, The Palm Beach Zoo will be offering $2.00 off of admission if you wear a leprechaun hat and free admission to anyone bold enough to dress as a leprechaun from head to toe. With regular admission being $18.95 for adults (13+) and $12.95 for kids, that’s not a bad trade-off!
The 13th annual Race for the Arts 5K and 2nd annual Color Me 4k run/walk will be held Saturday, March 1st, at Dreher Park. The money raised will be used to support arts programs in Palm Beach County Schools. There will be music, dancing, student art work, raffles, and games before and after the race.
On Wednesday, February 26th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, the Palm Beach Post will be hosting an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and great discussion about conservation. Mr. Syd Kitson, President and CEO of Kitson & Partners and former NFL player, will be speaking to attendees about his plan to build a solar-powered city, Babcock Ranch, in Southwest Florida.
At 7 PM on Friday, February 28th, the Palm Beach Zoo will be showing the movie ‘Rio 3D’ for its first ever ‘ZOOvies’ presentation. This event will be the first ever outdoor 3D movie event in Florida and it’s happening right here in the Southend. You won’t want to miss this!

The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting a Valentine’s day safari from 11 AM – 3 PM on February 14th, Valentine’s day. The zoo will be featuring its animal couples, everything from macaws to siamangs; see if you can spot them all! There will be giveaways and games for the kids as well.
