On Saturday, April 5th, from 8-10 PM, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium will be having a ‘Dark Sky Party’. The event will give visitors an opportunity to view astronomical objects through telescopes, learn about the solar system, the night sky, galaxies, and the universe with fun hands-on activities.
Crafts and games for the kids include: making your own ‘galaxy goo’, launching DIY rockets, and playing astronomy trivia. There will also be food trucks, planetarium shows, and, weather permitting, a beautiful view of the night sky.
Place: South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
Date: April 5th, 2014
Time: 8 – 10 PM
Cost: $7 per person
