This weekend, March 29th-30th, City Place will be hosting its 4th annual Art Festival. The event will feature over 200 artists with booths set up on Rosemary Avenue and Hibiscus Street from 10 AM until 5 PM.

On Friday, March 28th, from 6:00-9:00 PM, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium will be hosting a ‘Spring Fling’ night at the museum. The evening will be filled with fun and educational activities to celebrate the spring season.
The Palm Beach Zoo will is now hosting a Green Market every other Saturday starting on March 8th and ending on June 28th, 2014. Local produce stands, and sustainably harvested items will be available for purchase near the exit gate from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM every other Saturday. The next one coming up is March 22nd, so make sure not to miss it! On Friday, March 21st, from 5:30-9:30 PM, the Palm Beach Zoo will be hosting a ‘Food Truck Safari’. The zoo will be bringing in several food trucks in the evening for guests to enjoy a night at the zoo. There will be live music at the Interactive Fountain Plaza and the Mayan Plaza, along with Zoo Keeper talks and close-up animal encounters.
Saturday, March 15th, is state-wide ‘Save the Florida Panther Day’. To emphasize the importance of saving this critically endangered species, the Palm Beach Zoo will be celebrating with games, crafts, and informative keeper talks to teach guests how they can help in the conservation of our state mammal.
Children’s entertainment will also include an interactive percussion show by Steve Gryb, the Pied Piper of Percussion. To learn more about this event visit the zoo website here.
Wednesday through Saturday, February 19th-22nd, the annual American Red Cross Designers’ Show House and Preview Party will be taking place in the Southend! This will be the 38th anniversary of this unique tradition that features the ‘cream of the crop’ in the world of interior decor.

One of the top five boat shows in the U.S, the 29th Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show will be held this year on March 20 – 23. This year’s show will be featuring more than $1.2 billion worth of boats, yachts and accessories from the world’s leading marine manufacturers.

Next Thursday, March 13th, at 6 PM The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium will be sponsoring a ‘Science on Tap’ event at O’Shea’s pub on Clematis Street. Dr. William Bosking, Neuroscientist, will be giving a lecture titled ‘Visual Perception: How Our Brains Create the World We See’. For the price of a cup of coffee, beer or glass of wine, anyone can come and discuss science with a world-class scientist in a casual environment!
