Safari Night: Pirate Fest
Friday, June 19th 4:15-9:00 P.M.
Aarrrrgh ya going to join us? Put on your best pirate costume and be entered to win a $150 Palm Beach Zoo prize pack! We’ll have a DJ dance party, fun themed games and crafts, and face painting! Ye be invited to join us for this pirate kind of life. Walk the plank here.

Safari Night: Dinosaur/Jurassic Night
Friday, June 26th 4:15-9:00 P.M.
Jump back in time with us to explore the wild wonders of the Jurassic period! Dress up your little dinosaurs for a raawr’ing good time! We’ll have face painting, crafts, themed games and more! Click here if you dare.

Food Truck Safari
Saturday, June 27th 5:00-9:00 P.M.
Bring your appetite to this delicious safari! Enjoy live music by Shauna Sweeny and The Cuban Latin Show Band. The whole Zoo is open for you to explore while you make your way to the next food truck! Also, enjoy roving animal encounters and special keeper talks! Get hungry here.

Let Your Kids Experience a Winter Wonderland at the South Florida Science Center

Wish you had a little extra shopping time or a kid-free dinner to regroup from the holiday madness? The South Florida Science Center is about to become your new best friend.

This Friday, December 19, from 6-10 PM, the Center is hosting its monthly Parents Night Out. For $30 per child ($15 for each additional child), kids aged 4-12 can come and enjoy some science fun. The night includes hands-on science experiments, a science-related craft, exploration of the Science Center and Aquarium, a pizza dinner and a full-dome planetarium show. This month’s theme of Winter Wonders is sure to delight those longing for a true wintry experience.

No Boys Allowed! Girls Discover the Fun of Science and Math in the Science Center’s GEMS Club.

GEMS

Girls in grades 3-8 are invited to join the South Florida Science Center for its GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math & Science) Club on the last Tuesday of every month from 5-7 PM. This free monthly event is a great way to introduce girls to the world of STEM with hands-on activities designed to emphasize its fun possibilities. Each session will also feature an inspirational female guest speaker who has achieved a successful career in a science, technology, engineering or math field.

Saturday May 17th: End of Phipps Park Baseball Season Party!

The Phipps Park baseball season will be concluding on Saturday, May 17th. Following the last games, there will be a party at E.R Bradley’s Beach Club in Lake Worth to celebrate the end of the season. There will be a BBQ, bounce house, and a magician!
