Get ready for peanuts and Cracker Jacks- Phipps Park’s Opening Day is only a month away. The Spring season begins on Saturday, February 28.

But before the first pitch, there are plenty of of activities for little sluggers. Pull out your calendar and mark down these important dates.

T-Ball Clinic: Tuesday, Jan 27th
All registered T-Ball players are invited to a baseball clinic this Tuesday Jan 27th @ 6:15pm. The clinic will run until 7:30pm. (It is recommended that you arrive at 6:00 to get started on time)

Registrations: Jan 27 & Jan 31st
T-Ball players not registered, but interested in taking part on Tuesday’s baseball clinic, can register between 5:00-6:00, prior to the start of the event. Please report to Field #1.

All players other than T-Ball may register while the booth is open this Tuesday from 5:00-6:00.

Seniors availability is very limited with very few spots open. Any players wishing to sign up, may be placed on a waiting list. If so, parents will be contacted on a first-come first-served basis upon availability.

Evaluation Day: Jan 31st
All pre-registered players (other than Blast-Ball players) should come to the evaluation area between 9:30 to 11:30am. If you want to sign up your child that day, come early at 8:00am so they may still report to the evaluation.

Team Selections
After the evaluation day, each division will conduct their team selections, between Feb 4-6. The coaches will then be contacting the parents regarding the start of practices.

The players will attend their practices leading to Opening Day February 28th.

Blast-Ball parents will be contacted in mid-February for their pre-season meeting prior to Opening Day.
